A little about Me
A native southern californian and Venice Beach Photographer,
Santa Monica photographer, and Los Angeles photographer.
I See it I shoot It, I'm visual I like everything in the right place.
I like perfection as we all know it when we see it.
I know when to shoot, it goes through my system usually
no words need be involved it's beyond talking.
I see the surface and that is what appeals to me, often trying to capture the whole composition rather than just a piece of it, as opposed to being lost in some feature and not understanding the attraction that brought me to it in the first place.
I often shoot on location, portraits, fashion, events, street photography, at night and any artistic or expressive subjects that appeal to my sense of beauty and my desire to tell the story that is on the surface as it may be, but presenting it from my perspective as a human being who is compelled to record what is around me and moves me to take these images for one reason or another. Sometimes understood and sometimes to document for understanding later on in time.
Edward Weston said " a true artist can create great images in his own home" never before has that been more true than today with all our modern machines to aid the photographer, artist. "
I believe the subject is best left un-manipulated by the Photographer or left as natural as possible to their element in order to capture the essence and feeling of their surroundings and thus to produce beautiful accurate images of a lasting impressionable nature.
I believe my eye to be the barometer to the subjects soul, and my gut to guide my shutter release. I am always interested in growing as a Venice
